This candidate will provide all the accounting, administration, and financial reporting for the construction company and will be reporting to owners and managers Primary
Responsibilities:
Processing payroll with NY prevailing rates and preparing all payroll reports.
Perform all HR duties pertaining to benefits.
All work related to general ledger, WIP and preparing all associated schedules in a timely manner for Accountant which include, AP, and AR, job costing etc.
All AP/AR functions which include and is not limited to all preparation of both invoices, and AIA forms, all check preparation for AP.
Oversite and preparation of annual audits which include and are not limited to:
insurance audits, and benefits audits Administration of all contracts for Sub-Contractors.
Skills Required:
5 plus years' experience in accounting with construction experience Strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, income tax and working bank knowledge.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines completely Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload to produce desired results Solid computer skills including MS Office, Excel, Outlook.
Associate Degree in Finance or Accounting required.
